More Details on Our Top Picks
Squishmallows 10-Inch Brooke Polar Bear Holiday Plush
This 10-inch Brooke Polar Bear stands out for its perfect size for little hands and travel-friendly design. Compared with the larger 12-inch Hedda the Milk for Santa, Brooke offers a more manageable, cozy option that’s ideal for young children. Its plush, soft fabric ensures hugs are comforting, and the holiday-themed design makes it a delightful gift. However, the smaller size might leave collectors seeking more substantial plushes slightly disappointed, and some may find it too small for display. This pick makes the most sense for parents shopping for a holiday gift for kids who want a cuddly, portable companion that’s easy to carry around.
Pros:- Super soft and cuddly, perfect for hugging and comfort
- Adorable holiday-themed design ideal for gifting
- Compact size makes it travel-friendly and easy to store
Cons:- Limited to a single plush, which may not satisfy avid collectors
- Some may find it too small for older children or adults expecting larger plushes
Best for: Parents seeking a soft, travel-friendly plush for children aged 3+ during the holidays.
Not ideal for: Collectors or older children who prefer larger, more detailed plush toys for display or collection.
- Brand:Squishmallows
- Toy Figure Type:Stuffed Toy
- Character:Polar Bear
- Model Name:SQXM01070
- Model Number:SQXM01070
- Age Range:3 years and up
Our verdict“This plush is best suited for young children and gift-givers who want a cute, manageable holiday plush for cuddling and travel.”
Squishmallows 14in Nick the Santa Claus Plush
At 14 inches, Nick the Santa Claus offers a more substantial and huggable size compared to smaller options like the 10-inch Brooke. Its vibrant red Hawaiian shirt adds a playful twist to traditional Santa imagery, appealing to collectors and fans of holiday-themed plush. Made with ultrasoft, high-quality material, this plush provides a luxurious feel that’s perfect for cuddling. Unlike the more limited-feature 4-pack, Nick stands out as a single, high-quality collectible with a unique character design. The tradeoff is that it appeals mostly to dedicated Squishmallows fans and might be too niche for casual gift buyers. Overall, this plush makes the most sense for those who want a fun, festive, and high-quality Santa for holiday snuggling or display.
Pros:- Soft, high-quality material for a luxurious cuddling experience
- Unique Santa character with a fun, colorful design
- Official Squishmallows product with authenticity seal
Cons:- Limited appeal outside of Santa or holiday-themed plush fans
- Higher price point might be a barrier for some buyers
Best for: Holiday collectors and fans seeking a distinctive Santa plush with premium softness.
Not ideal for: Casual gift buyers or children who prefer smaller or more traditional holiday plushes.
- Size:14 inches
- Character:Nick the Santa Claus
- Material:Ultrasoft plush
Our verdict“This plush is ideal for holiday collectors or fans seeking a plush Santa with a premium feel and distinctive design.”
Squishmallows Original Holiday 4-Pack – Official Jazwares Plush (Little) – Amazon Exclusive
This exclusive 4-pack offers a vibrant mix of festive characters including Ingred the Purple Cow, Omar the Bear, Marilyn the Green Pickle Ornament, and Luna the Penguin. It provides excellent value for families or collectors wanting multiple holiday-themed plushes at once, especially compared to buying individual larger plushes like the 12-inch Hedda. The plushes are crafted with ultrasoft fabric, making each one cuddly and appealing. However, the small size may be less satisfying for those who prefer larger or more detailed plush toys, and the holiday theme limits their use outside the season. This bundle is best for gift-givers or families wanting a variety of holiday plushes without a high cost per item.
Pros:- Festive characters with adorable holiday themes
- Ultrasoft, cuddly fabric for comfort
- Includes a variety of characters with fun bios
Cons:- Limited to holiday characters, reducing year-round versatility
- Small size may not satisfy collectors or older children who want larger plushes
Best for: Families or gift buyers seeking a colorful, affordable holiday plush bundle for kids or decorations.
Not ideal for: Collectors seeking larger or more detailed plushes, or those wanting plush toys with year-round appeal.
- Brand:Squishmallows
- Toy Figure Type:Plush
- Quantity:4-pack
- Material:Ultrasoft fabric
Our verdict“This bundle makes the most sense for holiday gift-giving or families wanting a variety of cute, affordable plushes for the season.”
Squishmallows Micromallows Holiday Advent Calendar
The Micromallows Advent Calendar offers a fun, collectible way to count down to Christmas with 24 miniature 2.5-inch plushes, including characters like Benny the Bigfoot and Cam the Cat. Compared with larger plush options like Hedda or Nick, these tiny plushes are perfect for fans who enjoy building a holiday collection or using them as stocking stuffers. The limited size means they’re less suitable for cuddling or display, and the repetitive nature of holiday characters might not appeal to those seeking variety beyond the season. This pick is ideal for dedicated Squishmallows fans or those who want a daily holiday surprise in a compact package.
Pros:- Includes 24 mini plush Squishmallows for a fun countdown
- Official licensed product with collectible appeal
- Features popular holiday characters
Cons:- Small size limits versatility and cuddling
- Repetitive holiday theme may bore some collectors
Best for: Holiday enthusiasts who enjoy collecting miniature plush toys and want a festive countdown experience.
Not ideal for: Collectors preferring larger plush figures or those seeking plushes suitable for cuddling or display.
- Size:2.5 inches
- Number of Items:24
- Theme:Holiday/Christmas
Our verdict“This advent calendar is perfect for holiday enthusiasts and collectors who enjoy mini plush surprises each day.”
Squishmallows 12in Hedda the Milk for Santa Plush
Hedda the Milk for Santa at 12 inches offers a more substantial presence compared to smaller plushes like Brooke or the Micromallows calendar. Her ultrasoft, high-quality fabric makes her a cozy holiday decoration or gift for those wanting a plush that can double as a seasonal accent. Compared to Nick the Santa, Hedda’s more neutral design makes her versatile for various holiday settings. The medium size, however, might be less appealing for very young children who prefer smaller, more manageable plush toys, and her holiday-only use limits year-round display options. This plush is best for buyers wanting a decorative, cuddly Santa-themed figure that can be displayed prominently during the season.
Pros:- Soft, high-quality plush material for a plush feel
- Large enough to serve as a holiday decoration
- Officially licensed product with a charming Santa theme
Cons:- Limited use outside of the holiday season
- Medium size may not suit very young children who prefer smaller plushes
Best for: Holiday decorators or gift buyers wanting a plush with a decorative presence and high-quality feel.
Not ideal for: Very young children or buyers seeking plush toys suitable for year-round play or collection beyond Christmas.
- Size:12 inches
- Material:Ultrasoft, high-quality fabric
- Character:Hedda the Milk for Santa
Our verdict“This plush makes a lovely seasonal decoration or gift for those who want a plush with a noticeable display presence during Christmas.”
Squishmallows Original Holiday 4-Pack – Official Jazwares Plush (Little) – Amazon Exclusive
This exclusive four-pack offers a diverse set of holiday-themed Squishmallows, including Maritza the Cactus, Stevon the Golden Retriever, Clayton the Blue Cow, and Tinsley the Peppermint Latte. Compared with the 6-pack Christmas Cozy Squad, this set provides a broader range of characters, making it ideal for those who want a mix of personalities and designs. However, it’s limited to seasonal characters and lacks specific size info, which could matter for collectors seeking display pieces. The plush is ultrasoft and high-quality, ensuring a cozy feel, but the absence of size details means buyers can’t gauge their ideal fit upfront. This set makes the most sense for gift-givers who want an exclusive, holiday-themed bundle with collectible appeal, though it may not suit those seeking year-round decor or larger plushes.
Pros:- Includes four distinct, holiday-themed characters with unique bios
- Made from ultrasoft, high-quality plush material
- Official Jazwares product, Amazon exclusive
Cons:- Limited to seasonal characters, reducing year-round appeal
- No size information provided, which could affect display choices
Best for: Collectors and gift-givers who want a curated, exclusive holiday plush bundle
Not ideal for: Buyers seeking larger plush toys or non-seasonal designs, as the set is limited to holiday characters and may be seen as too seasonal
- Includes:4 Squishmallows
- Characters:Maritza, Stevon, Clayton, Tinsley
- Material:Ultrasoft plush
- Exclusive:Amazon exclusive
Our verdict“This set is best for collectors and gift-givers wanting a festive, exclusive bundle of plush characters for the holidays.”
Squishmallows 5-Inch Holiday Plush 6-Pack – Christmas Cozy Squad
This 6-pack features small, 5-inch plush characters like Cam the Calico Cat and Darla the Reindeer, perfect for holiday decorating or gifting. Compared to the 10-inch Ignacio Snowman, these are more portable and easier to cuddle, making them suitable for younger children or as stocking stuffers. The limited size, however, might disappoint plush fans looking for larger, more huggable toys. Each character’s detailed holiday accessories enhance their charm, but their size restricts display options for collectors wanting larger seasonal decor. This set makes the most sense for those seeking a variety of festive characters that are easy to carry and gift, but less so for fans who prefer substantial plush toys.
Pros:- Includes a variety of holiday characters in one set
- Compact size ideal for cuddling, carrying, or decorating
- Great for holiday gifts or stocking stuffers
Cons:- Limited to 5-inch size, which may not satisfy plush enthusiasts seeking larger toys
- Only suitable for holiday-themed use, limiting year-round appeal
Best for: Parents or gift-givers looking for small, festive plushes for stocking stuffers or holiday decorations
Not ideal for: Buyers wanting larger plush toys or plushes suitable for display beyond holiday decor, as the size is quite small
- Quantity:6-pack
- Size:5 inches
- Characters:Cam, Darla, Brooke, Milanda, Lala, Ryan
Our verdict“This set offers a fun, festive collection of small plushes perfect for holiday gifting and decor, especially for younger children or stocking stuffers.”
Squishmallows 10-Inch Ignacio Snowman Holiday Plush
The 10-inch Ignacio Snowman stands out for its soft, cuddly texture and charming holiday design, making it a versatile choice for kids and collectors. Compared to the smaller Fleur Yule Log, Ignacio offers a more substantial size for hugging and imaginative play, but it remains limited to a single character, which might not appeal to those seeking variety. The plush’s high-quality material ensures durability, yet its specific holiday theme restricts use to the winter season, unlike more neutral plushes. This pick makes the most sense for families or collectors who want a cozy, holiday-specific snowman with added play value, but it’s less ideal for year-round decor or those wanting a broader character range.
Pros:- Super soft, cuddly, and appealing for kids and collectors
- Encourages imaginative play with a holiday theme
- Great size for hugging and gift-giving
Cons:- Limited to a Snowman character, reducing variety
- May be too small for those wanting larger plushes
Best for: Parents and collectors seeking a plush that combines holiday charm with playability
Not ideal for: Buyers looking for larger, more display-worthy plushes or neutral designs, as Ignacio is limited to seasonal use and a specific character
- Size:10 inches
- Character:Snowman
- Material:Super soft plush
- Age Range:3 years and up
Our verdict“This plush makes a cozy, holiday-themed gift for kids and collectors who appreciate a medium-sized, cuddly snowman.”
Squishmallows 20in Ulysses The Black Christmas Tree Plush
Ulysses the Black Christmas Tree is a striking 20-inch plush, ideal for those who want a prominent holiday display piece. Compared with the smaller Ignacio Snowman, Ulysses offers a larger, more impactful presence, making it perfect for decorating a room or serving as a statement gift. The plush’s ultrasoft material and unique black Christmas tree design set it apart from traditional green trees, appealing to fans of more modern or edgy holiday decor. However, its size may be unwieldy for small children or limited spaces, and it’s primarily seasonal, limiting its year-round use. This plush suits buyers who want a sizable, eye-catching holiday ornament, but it might be too large for everyday cuddling or smaller homes.
Pros:- Impressively large, making it a focal holiday piece
- High-quality, ultrasoft plush material
- Unique black Christmas tree design with a fun bio
Cons:- Too large for small children or limited space
- Limited to seasonal use, not suitable for year-round decoration
Best for: Home decorators or collectors seeking a large, statement holiday plush for display
Not ideal for: Buyers desiring smaller plush toys or versatile, year-round decor, as Ulysses is large and season-specific
- Size:20 inches
- Character:Ulysses, Black Christmas Tree
- Material:Ultrasoft plush
- Theme:Holiday, Christmas
Our verdict“This large plush is ideal for creating a bold holiday display or collector’s piece, though it’s less practical for everyday cuddling or small spaces.”
Squishmallows 8in Fleur the Yule Log with Holly – Official Holiday Plush
Fleur the Yule Log is a charming 8-inch plush with a playful holiday design, making it perfect for small spaces or as a collectible ornament. Its ultrasoft material provides a cozy touch, and the detailed Holly accents add seasonal flair. Compared to the 10-inch Ignacio Snowman, Fleur is smaller and more suited for compact displays, but its niche holiday theme might limit usage outside of the Christmas season. The plush’s size makes it ideal for adding a whimsical touch to shelves or tables, yet it might not satisfy those wanting larger, more huggable plush toys. This pick is best for those seeking a cute holiday accent that doubles as a collectible, but less so for casual plush fans or year-round decor.
Pros:- Soft, high-quality plush with a festive design
- Includes a cute bio and name for added charm
- Perfect size for small displays or holiday decorations
Cons:- Limited to an 8-inch size, which may be too small for some
- Holiday-specific design limits year-round use
Best for: Holiday decorators or collectors wanting a small, cute seasonal plush with a whimsical charm
Not ideal for: Buyers seeking larger plush toys or neutral designs, as Fleur is limited to holiday decor and small sizes
- Size:8 inches
- Character:Fleur the Yule Log with Holly
- Material:Ultrasoft plush
- Theme:Holiday, Christmas
Our verdict“Fleur is a delightful, small holiday plush that adds a whimsical touch to seasonal decor, ideal for collectors or festive displays.”
Squishmallows Original Holiday Micromallows Plush Bouquet
This holiday-themed plush bouquet stands out for its charming, miniature size, making it ideal for collectors who want a cute, versatile display piece. Compared with the larger Squishmallows Buddy the Elf 12in Plush, these Micromallows are far more portable and easier to incorporate into holiday decor without cluttering space. The inclusion of three distinct characters—Laurel, Zumir, and Brooke—adds variety, but their small size means they lack detailed features and may disappoint those seeking more lifelike or plush fullness. These Micromallows are perfect for gifting or adding a festive touch to small spaces, but they aren’t suitable for kids looking for cuddly, larger plush toys.
Pros:- Compact size makes them easy to display or carry
- Includes three different characters for variety
- Soft and plush, suitable for cuddling
Cons:- Limited to small size, may not appeal for larger plush lovers
- Only suitable for collectors or fans of Squishmallows
- No detailed features due to small size
Best for: Holiday decorators or collectors seeking small, cute, and festive accents.
Not ideal for: Parents looking for large, cuddly plush toys for children to snuggle during the holidays.
- Size:2.5 inches
- Includes:3 Micromallows
- Characters:Laurel, Zumir, Brooke
- Theme:Holiday
Our verdict“This pick works best for holiday collectors or those wanting mini plush decor, but it’s less suited for children seeking larger cuddly toys.”
Squishmallows Holiday Fox 14” Plush
The Squishmallows Holiday Fox makes a strong impression with its ultra-soft, high-quality material, standing out from smaller Micromallows like the bouquet for its larger, more cuddly presence. Compared with the Micromallows Holiday Wreath, this plush offers a more character-driven design, making it a favorite for those who want a plush with personality and a bit of holiday flair. While it features a unique name and bio, details on the materials or care are limited, which might concern buyers seeking durability or easy cleaning. This plush suits fans who want a seasonal, high-quality cuddle buddy rather than a small collectible.
Pros:- Ultra-soft and high-quality material
- Unique name and bio add collectible value
- Larger size for cuddling and display
Cons:- Limited information on materials or care instructions
- Price may be higher due to size and quality
Best for: Holiday gift buyers or collectors wanting a larger, character-driven plush.
Not ideal for: Small-space decorators or those seeking tiny collectibles for detailed display.
Our verdict“Ideal for those who want a plush with character and size, but less suited for collectors seeking tiny or purely decorative items.”
Squishmallows Micromallows 4-Pack Holiday Wreath
The Micromallows Holiday Wreath Set provides four charming, tiny plush toys perfect for holiday decorating or gifting, echoing the festive spirit of the Micromallows Holiday Bouquet but with a larger set for variety. The small 2.5-inch size makes them easy to integrate into holiday centerpieces or stockings, although their limited character range and size may not appeal to those wanting larger, more detailed plush toys. Only including four characters, this set emphasizes variety over individual plush complexity, making it ideal for gift-giving or collection expansion.
Pros:- Cute and festive holiday designs
- Compact size perfect for collection or decoration
- Official Squishmallows product with authentic seal
Cons:- Limited to holiday-themed characters
- Small size may not appeal to all collectors
- Only includes four characters
Best for: Holiday decorators or gift givers seeking a festive, compact plush set.
Not ideal for: Buyers wanting large, cuddly plush for children or detailed display pieces.
- Size:2.5 inches
- Includes:4 Micromallows plush toys
- Theme:Holiday Wreath
Our verdict“A charming set for holiday decor or small gift ideas, but less suitable for those seeking large plush companions.”
Squishmallows Buddy the Elf 12in Plush
The Buddy the Elf 12-inch plush offers a classic holiday character with the plush quality expected from Squishmallows. Its size makes it highly portable, ideal for travel, cozy nights, or holiday movie marathons, contrasting with the smaller Micromallows for its larger, more cuddle-friendly form. While its licensed character adds appeal, it is limited to a single design, which could be a drawback for those wanting a variety of holiday plush options. The plush’s soft, ultrasoft material ensures comfort, but its price may be a consideration since only one size is available and no additional characters are offered.
Pros:- Soft, high-quality, ultrasoft material for cuddling
- Officially licensed by Warner Brothers
- Perfect size for travel and cuddling
Cons:- Limited to one character
- May not appeal to buyers seeking multiple or different characters
- Price comparison is difficult without listed cost
Best for: Families or individuals seeking a large, cuddly holiday plush for travel or seasonal snuggling.
Not ideal for: Collectors wanting a variety of characters or those preferring smaller, display-only plush toys.
- Brand:Squishmallows
- Toy Figure Type:Stuffed Toy
- Character:Buddy the Elf
- Model Name:Style 7
- Unit Count:1
- Age Range:Toddler
Our verdict“Best for those who want a plush that’s big enough to cuddle and travel with, but not ideal for collectors seeking variety.”
How We Picked
The products in this list were evaluated based on several key criteria that matter to holiday plush enthusiasts. First, build quality and durability were essential, ensuring each Squishmallow can withstand seasonal handling and play. Second, we considered design appeal—festive features, character recognition, and overall cuteness factor. Price was also a factor, with a focus on providing options for different budgets, from small packs to premium sizes. Lastly, versatility—whether the plush can serve as decor, a gift, or a collectible—helped determine their ranking. Factors to Consider When Choosing Squishmallows Holiday List
Choosing the right holiday Squishmallow involves understanding what features will bring the most joy and value. Consider size, as larger plushes make a more prominent display but tend to cost more and take up space. Durability and fabric quality matter if you want to keep your plush in good shape through seasonal handling. Thematic details like holiday accessories or character recognition can enhance the festive vibe, but sometimes at a higher price. Additionally, think about whether you want a single plush or a themed set, which often offers more variety but at a higher total cost. Remember, your main goal—be it gifting, decorating, or collecting—should guide your choice to avoid buyer’s remorse.Size and Display Impact
Size is a key factor because it influences how the plush fits into your holiday decor or gift plans. Larger plushes, such as 20-inch trees or Santa characters, create eye-catching displays but are less portable and more expensive. Smaller sizes, like 5-inch or 8-inch options, are more affordable, easier to store, and versatile for gift bags or stocking stuffers. Consider your space and budget to choose a size that balances visual impact with practicality. Keep in mind that some collections feature multiple sizes, allowing you to layer different plushes for a festive scene.Build Quality and Durability
Holiday plushes often get handled frequently during decorating or gift exchanges, so durability is important. Look for plushes with dense stitching, high-quality fabrics, and secure accessories like hats or scarves. Cheaper versions may fray or lose their shape quickly, which can be disappointing after just a season. Investing in well-made plushes ensures they remain cute and intact year after year. Remember, a plush with sturdy construction may cost a bit more upfront but offers better value over time.Design and Festive Details
The visual appeal of a holiday Squishmallow hinges on its design features—festive accessories, character recognition, and seasonal colors. Some plushes feature detailed costumes like Santa hats or reindeer antlers, adding to their charm. Others have simpler, classic holiday colors that blend into any decor. Be cautious of overly generic designs that might not feel as special, especially if you’re aiming for a collectible or gift item. Unique details can elevate a plush from cute to memorable, making it a keepsake for years to come.Set Options and Themed Packs
Buying a set or themed pack can offer variety and a cohesive look for your holiday decor, but it often comes with a higher total investment. Packs like the holiday 4-pack or advent calendar provide multiple characters or mini plushes, which can be more engaging for families or collectors. However, individual plushes might be more suitable if you’re focusing on a specific character or size. Think about whether you want a single standout plush or a collection that creates a festive scene in your home.Price and Value Considerations
Price varies significantly across different sizes and sets. While some smaller plushes are budget-friendly, larger or exclusive designs tend to cost more. It’s wise to balance your budget with your priorities—if collecting or gifting is the goal, investing in a premium or limited edition plush might be worthwhile. Conversely, if you want to decorate on a budget, smaller or bulk packs provide good value. Always consider how often you’ll use or display the plush to determine if the price aligns with long-term enjoyment.Frequently Asked Questions
Are Squishmallows suitable for kids during the holidays?
Yes, Squishmallows are generally very safe for children, especially the smaller sizes which are soft and plush. Their gentle fabrics and secure stitching make them safe for kids to cuddle, carry, and play with during the holiday season. However, always check for any small accessories or parts that might pose a choking hazard for very young children. During the holidays, these plushes can serve as both comfort objects and festive decorations, making them a versatile gift or decor piece for families.Should I buy a single holiday Squishmallow or a pack?
Deciding between a single plush or a pack depends on your intended use. Single plushes are great if you want a specific character or a standout piece that can be a gift or focal point in your decor. Packs or sets, on the other hand, offer multiple characters or mini plushes, creating a more dynamic holiday display or multiple gifts for family members. Sets can also be more cost-effective per item, but they may include characters you don’t need or want. Consider your space, budget, and collecting goals when making this choice. How do I store Christmas Squishmallows after the season?
Proper storage is key to maintaining your Squishmallows’ shape and softness for future holidays. Keep them in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent fading or fabric deterioration. Using breathable storage bins or pillowcases can help protect them from dust and pests. If you want to preserve their shape, avoid compressing or squishing them tightly. Many collectors store their plushes in a dedicated holiday box or on a shelf where they can be admired year-round, ready for the next festive season. Are limited edition holiday Squishmallows worth the extra cost?
Limited edition or exclusive holiday Squishmallows can be valuable for collectors, especially if they feature unique characters or special accessories. These plushes often become more desirable over time, making them a good investment for dedicated fans. However, they typically come at a higher price point and may be harder to find. If your goal is to enjoy a cute holiday plush for seasonal decorating or gifting, a standard version might be more practical. But if you love collecting or want a special keepsake, limited editions can add significant value to your collection. What size Squishmallow is best for decorating my home during the holidays?
For decorating purposes, larger sizes like 12-inch or 20-inch plushes tend to make a more prominent impact in your holiday displays. They can be placed on mantels, chairs, or as part of a centerpiece. Smaller plushes, such as 8-inch or 5-inch sizes, are more suited for stuffing stockings or creating a layered, festive scene on shelves or tables. Consider the space available and how much visual impact you want—larger plushes create statement pieces, while smaller ones add charm without overwhelming your decor. Conclusion
This roundup offers a variety of options tailored to different buyer needs. The Squishmallows 10-Inch Brooke Polar Bear makes an excellent choice for those seeking a versatile, high-quality holiday plush with broad appeal. The Buddy the Elf 12-inch Plush is perfect for fans of character-driven gifts or decor. Budget-conscious shoppers will appreciate the 5-Inch Holiday Plush 6-Pack for value and variety. Collectors aiming for exclusivity might prefer limited edition or themed sets, while newcomers should consider smaller, easier-to-handle options. Ultimately, your choice depends on whether you prioritize display impact, collectibility, or budget — but all of these plushes can bring holiday cheer to your home.Halloween Picks
